Contemplata aliis Tradere

A meagre contribution to the mission and work of the Order of Preachers: my reflections, thoughts, ideas and the occasional rant on matters mainly theological, philosophical and ecclesiastical, drawn primarily from my reading and experience of life and the world. Striving to be always Catholic, firmly Christian and essentially Dominican, flavoured with dashes of Von Balthasar.

New Theologian of the Papal Household

From Zenit:

"Benedict XVI has appointed Father Wojciech Giertych, of the Order of Preachers, as the new theologian of the Pontifical Household.

The new Pontifical Household theologian received his doctorate in theology from
the Angelicum. He speaks Polish, English, French, Italian, Spanish, German and

addresses, messages and similar texts.

This duty does not include texts that deal with the diplomatic corps and Vatican

Let us pray for him in his new role, in service to the Holy Father.
