It's not too early: WYD 2008!
UPDATED: 22 December 2005Pope Benedict XVI said in August, "And now, as the living presence of the Risen Christ in our midst nourishes our faith and hope, I am pleased to announce that the next World Youth Day will take place in Sydney, Australia, in 2008. We entrust to the maternal guidance of Mary most holy, the future course of the young people of the whole world."
The Sydney World Youth Day 2008 website is now online... visit it, contribute but above all pray for God's blessing upon this enterprise!
WYD 2008 will have as its theme: "You will receive power when the holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses."

Finally, a WYD in my home city! Do you think you will be making the trip south, Fra Lawrence?
God-willing! I love Sydney - it's such a gorgeous city. I had a chance to sing in the Opera House a few years ago and it was unforgettable!
Are you coming to WYD2008? I'm looking into organising a blogger event.
