Contemplata aliis Tradere

A meagre contribution to the mission and work of the Order of Preachers: my reflections, thoughts, ideas and the occasional rant on matters mainly theological, philosophical and ecclesiastical, drawn primarily from my reading and experience of life and the world. Striving to be always Catholic, firmly Christian and essentially Dominican, flavoured with dashes of Von Balthasar.

The New Liturgical Movement

I have been invited to contribute to a new group blog called "The New Liturgical Movement" which aims to "promote the New Liturgical Movement called for by His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI in all the sacred arts and in the unity of legitimate liturgical diversity".

Do have a look and read the posts there and of course, comment. The first Liturgical Movement which began in the late 19th century was the fruit of much discourse, study, discussion and interaction. We hope that by utilising the internet and adding our voice to the blogosphere, a new Liturgical Movement for the 21st century, of which this is but a humble part, may flower and bear fruit, for the glory of God and the sanctification of His people.
